JULIA

BURCHILL

Hi! I’m Julia…

…an actor and storyteller.

I aim to tell stories that are daring, lived-in, and true; stories that reconnect us with our humanity during a time that is rife with division, uncertainty, and artificial connection.

Growing up in rural New Jersey, my imagination had plenty of room to run wild. The moment I discovered that it could be channeled into theatre (during my first play—The Tempest by William Shakespeare—in the fourth grade), I never looked back. Now an NYU Drama student living in Harlem, that same imagination has adjusted well to the broad sidewalks of Lexington Avenue and the busy streets of the East Village.

When I’m not hard at work collaborating with others on a piece of theatre, you can probably find me sitting in Washington Square Park or a coffee shop with my wonderful friends, dancing to Olivia Dean in my kitchen while I cook dinner for my family, or devouring whichever fantasy literature series I’m currently reading (right now, it’s Crescent City by Sarah J. Maas). Or I’m daydreaming about Ireland.
